It takes a village to raise a child.

Help us support foster children and families in Brown County.

Foster the Village is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that provides aid to the Brown County foster care community by supplying clothing, shoes, and other basic care items to children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and/or neglect.  Our services are free of charge and open to the foster care community in Brown County.

Foster The Village

Just a reminder as we begin out holiday shopping, you can use Amazon Smile and select Foster the Village as a recipient of their donation. Also, any extra Kohls cash that you may not need, we would be grateful to use on needed underwear, gloves, etc. Thanks! 🩲🧤🎒🧦 ... See MoreSee Less

How do we share Kohl’s cash with you? I have $15 that expires Dec 1st!

Hello, I have a bin of lost of new girl clothes, including socks, underwear, new winter jacket and other clothing and shoes. All are new or like new. Wondering when and where I could drop that off if you are currently accepting donations. Thank you!!!

Foster The Village

While these are not the actual kids (confidentiality is needed) this was the level of excitement of the 2 girls we served late yesterday. They were placed in a foster home with only a few articles of clothing. The little one found a Frozen shirt and put it on immediately. They found winter coats, boots, clothes, and blankets. Then a favorite backpack was found to fill with books and crayons/coloring books. They had such big smiles when they left.
Your donations matter! ❤️
